Specialized Hard Rock Disc
The Specialized Hardrock Disc is one of the good mountain bikes that not only provides great value for money but also is a great purchase. This bike can take a on rough trail and doesn’t skip a beat. Drop offs, small jumps, steep climbs, it does it all plus it has a comfortable riding positioning for 2-3 hour rides. This bike is fitted with some good component including SR Suntour SF11-XCT fork and SR Suntour crank, Avid Brakes 160mm, Shimano Altus front derailleur, SRAM rear, SRAM shifters.

2011 Specialized Hardrock Disc – the most versatile hardtail for kicking around town
An entry level bike from Specialized, the Hardrock comes with the same quality features as more expensive Specialized models. This bike has an avid BB5 mechanical disc brakes with 160mm G2 Clean Sweep rotors giving it good controlled stopping power. Lightweight and durable, the Hardrock is one of the ten best mountain bikes under $500 that you can buy, also keep an eye out for its bigger brother the Rockhopper as they can be found for around $500 on special. As far as good mountain bikes go this is a great entry level bike.
